Harrow's Karate Scene Lights Up with 8th Invitational Tournament

The Harrow Shotokan Karate club, under the JKS Harrow banner, is excited to announce their 8th Annual Invitational Championships on Sunday 17th. This prestigious event welcomes a wide range of participants, with categories spanning from young enthusiasts aged 5 years to seasoned practitioners over 40.

The championship will feature various disciplines, including kata, kumite, and team or pairs kata. For individuals, the entry fee is set at £15 for a single event and £25 for two events. Teams can register for £15. The winners of each category will be awarded uniquely designed trophies and medals, continuing the tradition of introducing new designs every year.

McCaffertys Bar in Harrow is gearing up to spread some festive cheer with a massive Christmas jumper party scheduled for December 15th. This merry gathering invites guests to don their favorite holiday-themed jumpers, adding a colorful and cozy touch to the season's celebrations. The event will be set to the tune of festive music, creating a delightful ambiance that encapsulates the spirit of Christmas. Whether it's with reindeer patterns or snowflake designs, attendees are encouraged to showcase their most festive attire and join in the holiday fun.

Our historic Headstone Manor Park was crowned principal award winner at the 2023 British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) National Landscape Awards for nature conservation and biodiversity enhancement.
