Fire Rages at Wembley Tower Block as 125 Firefighters Battle Blaze
In Wembley, North West London, a significant fire erupted in a block of flats on Elm Road. The London Fire Brigade was alerted around 4:42 PM and initially dispatched 70 firefighters and 10 engines. The response later escalated to 125 firefighters and 20 engines.
The building was evacuated, and while the cause of the fire is unknown, there have been no reports of injuries. The public was advised to avoid the area. Police and other emergency services were also on the scene, and efforts to extinguish the fire continued into the evening.
