From Bullying to Belonging: Autistic Woman Finds Refuge in £15k Disney Collection
Kerri Carter, a 21-year-old from London with autism, has created a vast Disney collection valued at over £15,000 as a way to find joy and comfort amidst the bullying she faced in school. Her collection, which began with a single Disney-themed pin, has grown to include more than 400 items.
Secrecy Over ULEZ Damage Costs: Protection Measure or Transparency Issue?
The ICO has authorized TfL to conceal the financial ramifications of vandalism against ULEZ cameras, arguing that revealing such information could inspire further destruction by vandals.
This decision comes amid a backdrop of deliberate damage to ULEZ enforcement infrastructure, fueled by opposition to the ULEZ expansion aimed at curtailing air pollution in Greater London.
Critics argue that TfL's secrecy may serve to obscure the significant expenses incurred from repairing vandalized cameras and infrastructure, with some questioning the logic behind the belief that disclosing financial details would promote criminal activities.
Celebrate the Festival of Colors: Join the Holi Madness at RANG BARSE
London is set to dazzle with the vibrant hues of Holi at RANG BARSE, a festival of colors that promises an explosion of joy and unity. On Sunday, March 10, 2024, Byron Hall will transform into a canvas of exuberance as attendees immerse themselves in the festive spirit. The event will feature the electrifying sounds of #1 Bollywood DJ Kapil, whose mixes are sure to ignite the dance floor. Accompanied by the rhythmic beats of live dhol players and the energy of a dance performer, the atmosphere is bound to be electric.
As tradition dictates, the festival will celebrate the end of winter and the blossoming of spring with the throwing and smearing of colors, symbolizing love, laughter, peace, and the renewal of relationships. This family-friendly event offers free parking, kid activities, live entertainment, and an array of performances, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Scheduled from 11 am to 7 pm at Harrow Leisure Centre (Byron Hall) on Christchurch Avenue in Harrow, Middlesex, RANG BARSE invites everyone to create lasting memories of love and color.
