Back-to-Back Victories for North London's Choir at Prestigious UK Competition
North London Collegiate School's Canons Choir has won the Barnardo's National Choral Competition for the second year in a row. Their performance at the Birmingham Symphony Hall on March 5th has paved the way for them to perform at the Royal Albert Hall.
The choir, directed by Chao Cox, impressed the judges, including Douglas Coombes MBE, and was celebrated for their hard work and the unique sound they bring together. The event supports Barnardo's work with children and families in need across the UK.
New Beginnings for Harrow's Homeless Families Through Unique Collaboration
The London Borough of Harrow and Beam, a social enterprise, have teamed up to tackle homelessness, providing personalized support to families and individuals, including prison-leavers.
This partnership has already helped ten families find long-term homes and aims to assist many more through budgeting, employment, and housing support. Beam's innovative use of technology and community action offers a promising solution to homelessness, with plans to support 50 families and 18 individuals with prison records in Harrow.
Cyberbullying: A Parent's Roadmap to Detection, Intervention, and Prevention
