The George pub in Harrow, previously known as Yates’s, has undergone a near £100,000 upgrade and is transitioning into a Craft Union Pub. Set to reopen on April 24, the pub will extend its weekend closing hours to 2am on Fridays and Saturdays. The refurbishment includes new entertainment options like a pool table and a designated darts area, alongside a fresh lineup of DJs. Emma Wakeling, with extensive experience managing Stonegate sites, will lead the venue, promising an exciting schedule of events and promotions.
Sun Safety First: London Designer Outlet Offers Free Sunscreen to Shoppers
The London Designer Outlet in Wembley Park, in partnership with the British Skin Foundation, is offering free sunscreen to visitors starting April 20. The initiative includes sunscreen dispensers placed around the shopping center and expert advice on sun protection. This measure aims to enhance visitor well-being during the spring and summer months, with an emphasis on safety from UV exposure.
