Experience the Energy of 2-Tone Legends at Special Kinda Madness & Disco
On Friday, May 10, 2024, fans of ska and 2-Tone music are in for a treat as Special Kinda Madness takes the stage in a unique event featuring tributes to both Madness and The Specials. The show promises to ignite the dance floor with a vibrant selection of hits from both bands, encapsulating the spirit and energy of the late '70s and early '80s musical movements.
This adults-only event will kick off with doors opening at 7:00 PM at the venue's Ballroom, with the live performance scheduled from 8:30 PM until approximately 10:15 PM. Attendees can continue the night with a DJ set that will play a variety of party tunes up until midnight.
For those arriving early, Monty’s Bar & Kitchen will be open for pre-show drinks and dining. Guests can enjoy items from the main menu either in the bar or at their reserved table in the Ballroom until 9:00 PM.
Ticket information for the night includes options for raised seating areas with potential partially obstructed views. The venue accommodates various table sizes and aims to seat groups together, though smaller groups might share tables. Attendees are reminded to mention the lead booker's name when purchasing tickets separately to ensure they are seated together.
Accessibility is prioritized; patrons with special needs or wheelchair users should specify their requirements when booking. Although online ticket sales close at midnight the day before the event, last-minute attendees can purchase tickets at the door for an additional £5, subject to availability.
Special Kinda Madness not only recreates the iconic tunes of Madness but also channels the dynamic stage presence of The Specials, offering an authentic experience that feels like two tribute bands for the price of one. For more details, visit their official website at www.specialkindamadness.com.
