Oxhey Village Jazz Festival: Free Music and Fun for All Ages
This Sunday, May 19th, join us for our annual free 'festival within a festival' in Oxhey Village and Watford Heath. The event promises an afternoon filled with live entertainment, featuring over 20 bands, and culminating with the extraordinary talents of the Ronnie Scott's All Stars.
Enjoy free live music at six family-friendly pubs in Oxhey Village, the Bowls Club, and on a large stage on Watford Heath. Participating venues include The Victoria, The Railway Arms, The Rifle Volunteer, The Villiers Arms, The Load of Hay, The Royal Oak, and The Oxhey Bowls Club.
The festival will showcase a diverse range of musical styles with performances from grassroots and professional artists. Highlights include the Ronnie Scott's All Stars, The Tom Ridout Quintet, and the Charlie Pyne Quartet.
Aside from music, the festival offers a variety of activities including ice-cream, a classic car show on Watford Heath, food and drink stalls, and pop-up performances like the Walkestra led by Orphy Robinson. Whether you choose to stay at one venue or move around, this event promises a family-friendly, inclusive atmosphere.
The festival runs rain or shine. Although inclement weather might deter the classic cars, the show will go on. There are no tickets required, but RSVPs are appreciated for planning purposes.
