Which? Tests Reveal Inadequate Protection from Top Sunscreen Brands

Three popular sunscreen brands—Asda Protect Moisturising Sun Lotion SPF30 High, Calypso Press & Protect Sun Lotion SPF30, and Bondi Sands SPF 50+ Fragrance Free Face Sunscreen Lotion—failed safety tests conducted by Which? The products did not meet their claimed SPF and UVA protection levels. In contrast, budget-friendly options from Lidl and Aldi performed well, meeting their advertised protection levels. Asda and Calypso defended their products, citing independent testing that met EU standards.

Aldi Enhances Customer Experience with Expanded Alcohol and Beauty Sections

Aldi will reopen with expanded space for alcohol and beauty products. The redesigned store aims to enhance the shopping experience with a wider selection and improved layout. This update is part of Aldi's ongoing efforts to meet customer demands and provide a better overall experience.

Affordable Rents and Transport Links Drive New London Rental Trends

New data from SpareRoom has identified the top 10 London areas expected to become renting hotspots in 2024. These areas, mostly 7-11 miles from Central London, show increasing demand due to lower rents and good transport links, particularly the Elizabeth Line.

The areas include Abbey Wood, Forest Gate, Crystal Palace, and others. In contrast, demand for central locations like Camden Town has decreased. Wembley, Hackney, Stratford, Ealing, and Greenwich have seen rising interest.
