Street Elite Graduates Celebrate Success at Ealing Sports Festival

Ealing's Street Elite program recently celebrated the graduation of its participants at a sports festival. The nine-month program uses sports to help young people at risk or struggling in traditional education to gain qualifications and employment. The event highlighted the program's success, with many graduates moving into further education or jobs.

ULEZ Scrappage Scheme Sees Minimal Electric Van Adoption

Only two percent of vans in the ULEZ scrappage scheme were replaced with electric vehicles. Out of 16,965 applications, just 372 chose electric replacements. The scheme provides financial incentives for scrapping or retrofitting non-compliant vans, but most owners opted for the £7,000 scrappage payment.

Wembley's Grand Union Welcomes New Co-op Store Amid Major Development

The Co-op will open a new store in Wembley's Grand Union neighborhood, part of a large-scale development by St George. The project aims to create a mixed-use community with 3,350 homes, including affordable housing, and various amenities such as fitness centers, nurseries, and retail and dining options.

Beethoven, Mozart, and Mayer Highlight Trinity Orchestra's Upcoming Concert

Trinity Orchestra's concert on June 29, 2024, at Trinity Church, Harrow, will feature Mayer's Overture No. 2, Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante, and Beethoven's Symphony No. 7. Conducted by John Andrews, the event includes a pre-concert talk at 7pm. Tickets are priced between £5 and £15.

Experience Spiritual Growth at Men's Conference 2024

The Men's Conference 2024, themed "Set Apart," will be held on June 29 at Pinner Baptist Church. The event, focusing on worship, holiness, and service, includes worship sessions, fellowship, and an Indo-Sri Lankan lunch. A £10 donation is suggested.

The Parkfield Adult School Disco on June 29, 2024, at Parkfield Youth FC in Pinner will feature music from various decades, a dress-up contest, games, a raffle, and drink specials. The event runs from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and tickets cost £5.
